I’ve always been a fan of french toast, however cinnamon french toast is especially a favorite of mine. I should point out that this french toast is a light cinnamon french toast. It’s not dusted with cinnamon after the fact, the cinnamon is mixed into the egg base. This is totally a personal preference – I don’t like the powdery texture of cinnamon but I love the taste within the toast.



  1. 1 large pan
  2. 1 large bowl
  3. 1 whisk


  1. Crack your three eggs into your bowl
    3 eggs
  2. Add the teaspoon of cinnamon
  3. Add the teaspoon of sugar

  4. Add the cream
  5. Whisk thoroughly
  6. Take a slice of bread and lay it in the egg mix

  7. Flip it once and set aside on a plate

  8. Repeat for each slice

  9. Heat your pan and add a small bit of butter

  10. Fry one side of the toast until slightly browned
  11. Flip and cook until slightly browned

  13. Garnish with diced strawberries and top with syrup
