Big disclaimer ! this isn’t the slightest bit healthy but it is yummy! I’ve seen variations of this dish at different restaurants. It’s often called Salmone. In a nutshell this is salmon with peas in a cream sauce. If you make the cream sauce yourself – it won’t be nearly as lethal as the cream sauces restaurants serve.

 

Tools:

  • Colander
  • 1 large saucepan
  • 1 large pot
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 large knife

Instructions

 

Prepare the Salmon

  1. Place a large pat of butter in the pan

  2. Heat the pan to medium
  3. Sprinkle the herbs ( thyme and mix) onto the salmon
  4. Sprinkle half of the black pepper onto the salmon
  5. Sprinkle half the salt onto the salmon
  6. Place the salmon fillets skin side down into the pan

  7. Cook until the salmon is light pink at the top
  8. Once cooked , remove the skins and use a knife to cut the salmon into large cubes. Don’t cut it into fine pieces

  9. Set aside
  10. Turn off the saucepan until the pasta is done

Prepare the Pasta and Peas

  1. Follow the instructions for cooking the pasta
  2. Drain the pasta and set aside
  3. Boil the peas for 5 minutes and drain

Mix

  1. Add the cream to the saucepan

  2. Add black pepper to the cream

  3. Add the parmesan cheese to the cream and cook until it blends in
  4. Add the pasta to the cream sauce

  6. Add the cooked chopped salmon to the sauce pan

  7. Add the peas to the saucepan and mix
    peas added
  8. Mix gently

  9. Serve hot!
  10. Garnish with parsley and  grated parmesan cheese
